Array ( [sid] => 8452 [catid] => 1 [aid] => Mick [title] => Stand for what? [time] => 2002-12-12 14:00:00 [hometext] => So... What did you get out of bed for today?
I know there is no simple way out of this, but see if we aren't back where we started in ten years time... if we last that long. [bodytext] => An intravenous crash course in whatever today,
Wire open my eyes for my attention pay,
A mountain of lifeless kids I said it,
He hit me first, Bush pushed pathetic.
Though hypocrisy on my part is hidden,
Don’t dare put me in that position,
Hand on the button, ear to the pendulum,
I wouldn’t be in his clown shoes for anything.
Change White House to Fight House and sink the sun,
This war against terror is Air Force Dumb,
What do we do though? It’s got me stumped,
Sawn-off shotgun, hand on the pump.
And a hand on the air-strike, nuke the world,
Do we thank you for new deformities in boys and girls?
What else can you do though? Try prevention,
Forget that, scuttle the forces and teach a lesson.
Stay indoors on new years; it’s a terror threat,
Bad taste in our mouths, for what hasn’t come yet.
World leaders could care with less words than Pinion,
Should I shut my mouth and hide my opinions?
That Howard and Blair are just George’s minions,
Play political jump rope; drop their views in an instant.
So will I cry when a million homes go to waste?
Or should I just kick Kuwait sand in your face?
And that’s what they’re trying all over again,
It won’t work this time, like it didn’t work then.
But I’m no better than them, and I have no solution,
I’m as ***** as everyone, but throw in confusion,
But I’ll tell you one thing, and I’d care to bet,
This race won’t be peaceful, until there’s no race left.

I wonder how many people would agree with what you've said here?

I think a world referendum might well prove that we're all sitting here amazed at what's going on.

Your words are very well written and, in my opinion, absolutely spot on.
