Ive known you since before I can remember
We were small children then
I cannot think of the last time we spoke
It must have been forever when
You ate cookies at my house
And we peed in the neighbors pool
We lost track of time,
And forgot about school
But now I find you here
On my porch, outside my home
And I find myself heart broken
You were my first love, but I found another
My feelings come back
One step at a time
Your presence makes me weak
And your voice makes me cry
Your eyes are impenetrable
And your touch just too soft
But I have someone else
Whose name I cant think of
Why did you have to come back?
Youve confused me beyond the limits
Now Im stuck in this lie
Thank you friend of mine
My heart sings when youre near
But my hand just wants to punch you
I know that its right, even though its wrong
Why do I have to love you?

| i really like this poem i mean it happens to more ppl then what you think, like myself, i love my ex who i have a daughter with, but my frist love has came back to me, and i don't know for sure who i want to work things out with |

in that very situation right now, well kinda..started talking with my first and only real love again recently and it's pretty crazy :)
beautiful write though, i loved reading it :)
