Array ( [sid] => 84068 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => My Turn Around [time] => 2005-02-12 00:07:13 [hometext] => I've just realized that the person I've held closest, needs a wake-up call. [bodytext] => My tears run down just inside my skin
They bleed down my arms
And into my stomach and legs
The sadness that I’ve lost my closest friend
We haven’t spoken like normal for almost a week
But to me it feels like an eternity
I can’t see straight, my worry buries me
I’ve seen you do this to other friends of ours
Has it finally happened to me too?
My legs give way and I fall to the floor
The end of a two-year era
I can feel my heart breaking
You were the closest to me, and I to you
Weren’t these the words you said to me?
A knife in my stomach and tears in my heart
Why does this hurt so much?
I’ve never had many close friends
Hell, before I moved here I was alone
Is that my destiny?
Is that karma’s plan for me?
I know what I did wrong
In a way or two
But I can’t change it now
It’s too late to
But that can’t be the reason why
You’re mad at me
That has nothing to do with you

Is it just me, or are you too stuck up?
Are you too blind to see the truth
In what you think are lies?
You long for a better humanity,
For the Earth to be as good as it used to be.
The best friend I ever had,
May be me convincing myself.
No, it wasn’t you. You judged too much.
The greatest friend I ever had is pregnant
And lives her life happily.
You hate her.
You can’t stand that she chose this.
It’s not what she wanted, but it’s what happened.
And she accepted it,
She didn’t judge
She didn’t hate
You did
It was all you
You’ve caused other’s harm
You’ve made them feel like *****
And now I see you

This is a very sad write. I know what it's like to lose a friend due to their ignorance and denial. Great write. You expressed yourself very well.

This is really strong... I think you might want to enter a story about your experiences... I enjoyed reading about your pain, I could almost feel myself in your shoes feeling your pain...
Keep me posted
