Smile....or Cry

Why am I not certain
In this point of time
Whether I should smile or cry..
Maybe because deep down
I still wish you were mine
But then it hits me
Youre with her tonight
I cant help but feel the stab of hurt
Or the way it shatters my being
I dont feel alright
You were the first boy
I ever felt comfortable with
You were honestly something special
If you had me always
Theres nothing I wouldnt give
Before I could know though
You turned your back towards me
Left me floating in the wind
Im sure you werent that blind
Youre wrong you could see
Now you are leaving
Im so unsure of what to feel
Would it be right to say goodbye?
Do you deserve that final word?
All I know is the inner damage is real
I SHOULD smile
Because youre moving away
I will try with everything I know
To smile instead of cry
But will I still feel empty
At the end of the day?....

| This poem is great...it really means alot ot me becasue of the fact i know how much of a hell one guy can put you through...I look at it like this if a guy does everything he can to hurt you he's not worth your time.. |
