But I want to address the reader and let them know that it is not meant to be negative, even though it may seem to be. These are the images that come to my mind, and I simply write it out. [bodytext] => Skin deep,
the nail digs deeper,
just slightly,
enough to scorch the pink
unprotected skin that throbs,
and swelches, melts even,
while drowning in the thought's
brigade.

Stranded,
brown molecules lose sight of their vision's
insight.
We all live to learn and,
we all forget to remember,
this trip down 6th grade science class
where we first discovered our body's
forsaken image,
a frantic insult which defines our character.

I forgot to remind you to remember,
this unnecessary pleasure of forging our
forefathers signatures, in God's name
they have disgraced the forebearers ring.

True,
a falsity lies within these lines,
intersecting humming bird's wives,
with interplanetary wisdom anvils,
that stripe the slate clean with
brick's molding dust.

Gather the strands of each and every individual's
feathered hair linnens. Remember to
clean the slate,
clean the slate,
clean the slate,
with a stomach purged embrace,
while strapped shoe butterfly wings tear the seams
of your lip's zippered squack.

Feel these words trample over your brain's
muscular ability to comprehend.
Feel the pulse,
exageratingly vibrate within the veins in your skull.
Do you feel like you will explode,
into five million pieces of grey matter
that spit clean the janitor's pale,
strikingly fresh while you looked away
expecting to see the five fingered
leafs honestly posing for interviews
with the black moon?

One more fortnight
and the darkness will envelope your fingertips
trapping your fingernails within the cold madness
while your eyes see trees in the distance
brushing their leaves against the air,
with your face,
blank,
expressing no recollection
of the memory. [comments] => 3 [counter] => 171 [topic] => 43 [informant] => zenmind [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => oops )

"with your face, blank, expressing no recollection of the memory." That verse so closely resembles stroke victims when their facial features no longer react to what goes on around them much of the time. The rest is an interplay of interesting images - some dark, but not all. Like a collage, the makeup of this poem is. Interesting! Cheers!
