Array ( [sid] => 83303 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Disappear [time] => 2005-02-07 00:04:53 [hometext] => I take no credit of authorship for this piece. It is a song by the band HOOBASTANK but the words are just so relateable to what i'm going through, and I know some of the readers would feel the same. [bodytext] => There's a pain that sleeps inside
It sleeps with just one eye
And awakens the moment that you leave.
Though I try to look away
The pain in still remains
Only leaving when you're next to me.

Do you know that everytime you're near
Everybody else seems far away?
So can you come and make them disappear?
Make them disappear so we can stay.

And I search through every face
WIthout a single trace
Of the person, the person that I need. [comments] => 3 [counter] => 161 [topic] => 2 [informant] => cherrycoke [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => LovePoetry )

I hate to be pushy... but the site rules are rather clear in stating that members should only post (on the main page, I mean) what they've authored themselves. I do understand and appreciate your desire to share lyrics that mean a great deal to you - but... I gently suggest that there are forums for doing that. Try the "what are you listening to" forum... I think it's a more appropriate place.

ok that makes sense. thanx for your input. actually, i AM aware that we're only supposed to submit our work and that is why i clearly stated the name of the band who wrote the song. however i was not aware that there were forums on here, especially that there was one for music we listen to. so thanx for sharing that with me and i'll be sure to follow your advice in the future.
