The most fragile of affairs,
in these moments,
where my thoughts burst alive in mid-air,
in these minutes where my soul bounds to create such feelings,
in these seconds where my heart beats with the life of writing,
you don’t understand.
In theses words, my life so secretly lays aside,
in these words is all my feelings, all my pride,
in these words so tender to your ear,
so confusing to your mind,
lies me.
As your eyes scan across this paper,
trying so hard to decipher
the person that I am inside,
your lost.
Irony is so quick to laugh at us,
you know the moments where I find myself
are the moments that your lost.
Read it twice, three times if you have to,
but my soul wont change a word.
I have no doubts about my writing,
but if look back I’m sure
that everything is where its suppose to be,
because at that moment I felt it,
beating with my raging heart,
becoming flaming words,
so quickly burns the paper, so quickly I’m released.
In my thoughts you wont understand a word,
unless you’ve been where I have, unless you have a writers soul.
So step up and take a guess at this mumbo jumbo that I write
. Try again…try it twice.
But if my soul’s too complex for the simplicity in yours,
then let it be at that, no less and no more. [comments] => 1 [counter] => 165 [topic] => 43 [informant] => xxbreathlessx [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 8 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => oops )
