the rose has bloomed already?
Before the Spring has come,
before its growth is done?

Their eyes are shut,
their eyes are shut,
there is still time.

Do they know,
the bird has learnt to fly?
Before its left the nest,
from out its mothers breast?

Their minds are closed,
their minds are closed,
there is still time.

Do they see,
that snow falls to the Earth?
Before the dawn of Autumn,
before the leaves have fallen?

Their backs are turned,
their backs are turned,
there is still time.

They don't care,
that the snow has melted,
that the bird has dithered,
while the rose has withered.

They walk away,
they walk away,
it is too late.

Wow...This is a deep write. It's wonderful. The line repetition has a great effect on the poem. Excellent work. Awesome piece.

This is powerful, and thought-provoking.
I liked the lucid style of writing, and the sensitivity expressed.
Keep writing...
