Millions of people using internet
One of the ways of making friends
Chat rooms filled with chatters around the world
Day and night we find some people to chat
To cheer us up and make us smile

All sorts of rooms where we might find some friends
Someone that we can chat in any time of the day
Friends we can add to our lists of buddies
ICQ or MSN messenger is where I kept my favourite internet friends

We build some trust to our internet friends
Thou they live far away on the other side of the world
We might not be able to meet them
But we know that they will be there for us
In times of happiness and sadness as well
They are willing to share your happiness with a smile on their face
Even you saddest story they will listen and comfort you
With all the words they type, you will feel they care

Only if you are lucky to find a true internet friend
They send you an email if they don’t see you around for a week
With concern and love in the words they type
It makes me smile for the rest of the day
Knowing that someone, is thinking of me
Birthdays, Christmases and Valentine ecards
They never forget
I’m just lucky to have some good internet friends
I keep them forever just like my own friends in my life

Well that would be nice if this was actually the reality of what friends were here online lol.....but in all honesty and reality they stab u in the back before it's all said and done, especially when it comes time to need them to listen to you when you need them the most. but hey that's coz most people are liars...but that's just my experiences *smiles*

Nice write. I'm kind of cynical though. I think you have to take any friendship that you make with someone without meeting or being around them physically with a grain of salt. I've had some nice talks on the net, don't get me wrong, but you never know who you're really talking to. ;)
