Listening closely to the silent soft breeze
Hoping that my love will come to me soon
No longer the loser no longer the fool
I lay back and sing a song in my head
I will be patient no tears need be shed
Perhaps I was wrong a fool still am I
And this whole thing called love I must be blind
Surely she gave me signs of her trust
I could not have imagined there were no thoughts of lust
And then I recall what I saw in my head
My love, My Anny, lays under me dead
And I glance all around me, taking in a gasp
For I am at her grave site still living in my past
My love, my Anny, I am still waiting for you

Perfect title.. just wow..

Can you ever write!!!

I am blessed to have found your writes. Thank you for commenting on my write, so that I was able to locate you.

There are so many writers, I get lost. You are wonderful.

I sang the song, when I got to this sentence, I slowly recited.. no music , no singing..

****I could not have imagined there were no thoughts of lust

Deepened process, slowed down contact , I love it, this very effective closure... which brought tears to my eyes..

*****My love, my Anny, I am still waiting for you
My love, my Anny, what else could I do
