I wish I could drive by your house
And watch as you walk out the door
And see the stunned look on your face
So we wouldn’t have to wonder anymore.

To be there, and not have to wait
To share our first moment in time
To watch as you step your way to me
To finally let out the feelings inside.

Seeing the sun, shine in your hair
Breathing your perfume in the wind
To feel as your arms wrap around me
To kiss you again and again and again.

Feeling how it feels to hold you
Tasting how it tastes to kiss you
Loving how it feels to love you
Needing the way that I need you.

Seeing the bright smile in your eyes
Feeling the sweat on my hand
Wondering what I should say first
Almost too weakened to stand.

Trembling all over inside me
Choking on what words I should say
Completely lost in That Moment
Unsure if you feel the same way.

It all comes down to first contact
I’m so scared and I’m so afraid
I’m nervous yet still so excited
The first move for you to be made.

Just show me or tell me your feelings
Please give me some kind of sign
I know I’ll be shocked in That Moment
Hanging on, praying it’s fine.

Still shaking and shy in That Moment
Holding my breath ‘till I see
The way that you now are feeling
If I’m what you thought I’d be.

I’m only telling you the truth
I never, have done this before
But I am ready for That Moment
It’s what I’ve been waiting for.

No matter what, we’ll have friendship
If the connection, just doesn’t appear
At least I’ll have finally met you
And get over That Moment of fear.

We know that one way or another
We’ll find out, and then we’ll be fine
No more reasons to question us
Now it’s just a matter of time.

That Moment may change both our lives
That Moment may never take leave
That Moment will solve this mystery
That Moment for you and me.

Then maybe we move on as lovers
Or maybe we just find we’re friends
A little more time and we’ll find out
That Moment, the waiting shall end.
