I don't expect diamonds
I don't expect pearls
I don't expect you

Very good poem. Your last stanza throws it off a bit, but nevertheless- a very good read.

a very powerful poem, stated clearly, your telling like it is again, great style, your quickly progressing
from a diamond in the rough 2 a well cut gem i read it twice and noticed, this poem takes on a life of it's own . . .

expect nothing and never suffer dissapointment. you shouldnt expect it, it should be given without it being expected. excellent talent used to create a brilliant poem.
