Realization dawning
No one cared
Not really, not truly like they claimed
If they cared she would not still be here
All alone in the dark.

Sitting in a room all alone
She stared at the book
Opened it flipping thru the empty pages
She had to do something
Maybe if she wrote it all down
Someone would find it
And realize what they had driven her too.

Sitting in a room all alone
She picked up a pen
And began writing.
By the time it was done
The whole story was there
For anyone to read
She left it in that room
As she stepped back...

This is the second part to it, it's like a follow up.

Sitting in a room all alone
Lays a book
Who will find it?
Who will read it?
Who will care?
Someone, someday
Will find it
And then
Only then
Will the truth be revealed
About all the grief and pain
That has been endured
Since the day it was written.

This seems to be a reflection of your life. It shows how you feel alone, isolated, like no one really notices you. You write, hoping that someday, someone will read what you have written, so that you will feel understood and noticed. Sorry to hear that things are so rough for you, but keep posting your poetry on this web site. That way you will always be heard.

Be True,
zenmind

Awesome poem. I really like it. Especially the second part.

Quick question. Why is it two seperate parts? I think it would work great if you made it one big poem. I mean put the second part before the first. You could add "dusty and forgotten this is what it said..." that sort of thing. Just a thought.
