Array ( [sid] => 80261 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => I know the feeling [time] => 2005-01-17 13:58:44 [hometext] => A simple poem based on a personal realization. Something a little different for those readers tired of romance, suicide, or overly chipper poems (not that those are bad). Comments welcome. [bodytext] => I know the feelings of the lost,
who cry their silent tears.
I know how wretched it feels,
alone among your peers.

I’ve been the one to look around
and no one talk to me.
I’ve felt the urge to scream out loud,
do something to make them see.

It seems that they just go along
upon their merry way;
our own frustration can’t make them hear
what we have to say.

We have some taste what He may feel
when we choose our lonely path
He wants us to join Him on His road
so we may flee his wrath.

Perhaps He purges us of friends
so we will turn to Him.
That we would choose to do his will,
not follow human whim.

So when you gaze around
and feel just so alone.
Remember that He has His ways,
and He just wants you Home. [comments] => 4 [counter] => 1187 [topic] => 19 [informant] => MLCstar [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 30 [ratings] => 6 [editpoem] => 0 [associated] => [topicname] => InspirationalPoems )

Very well written...I'm sure He is extremely pleased with the tribute and knowledge you've shown. Also, thankyou for the change in pace, it was a welcomed read.
