[bodytext] => Dark, heavy clouds fill the valleys.
Stark, burnt, limbless trees peek above the smokey gray. I put my long black coat over my uniform as the wretched screams of ghosts, not yet awakened to death, cut thru the fog. Distant and mournful cries for loves lost and children gone. Memories etched by light, shadows cast in white. Survivors, unlucky and alone, walk through the waste of what was. Life passes, death consumes, spirits rise to look. Memories, flashing like knives in the hands of the sun, kneel them down begging, begging for the end to come. Mortals, lost and clueless, sliding down one ribbon of time. dancing with the inevitable.
