Are different- day and night.
I am of a tender age;
The world has become my stage
And I bask in its spotlight

But do not act too surprised
When you look into my eyes
And, deep within my soul, see
A gaping hole that's empty
For it is not a disguise-

I am who I want to be.
What you get is what you see
I will change myself for none.
When all has been said and done
I am still the same old -me-

Me- whose terrors have all grown.
Me- who fears being alone.
Me- who wonders when I die,
Above the place where I lie,
What will be etched on my stone.

Me- who cares but cannot show
What I feel, but all I know
Is my heart's captured in pen
And my soul does lie within
The words that have come to flow.

Me---
I see
A way with words
A talent to be heard
I can tell
You write so well
I enjoy the you
Stay yourself always true
Very good poem
