I woke up this morning
I have a headache
I brushed my teeth and breakfast I ate
I brush my hair but its still a mess
The TV is too loud
Its killing my head
I wash my face again and again
Im still falling asleep
I begin to re imagine
The dream I was dreaming
Then start to contemplate
Should I go into work?
Or should I be late?
I turn to my computer
I connect online
As I have a cheep connection
I realize I have an addiction to
The website of poetry dot com
I call my boss and tell him
Ill stay home
I put on a sigh and I give him a cough
He believes that Im sick
I hang up and write this poem
So here I am submitting this piece
God knows why
But I got away with staying right here!!!
