i scrub my skin
but all i do is make it bleed
nothing will get this dirt away
i can feel your hands
all around my body
i cry
as i bleach my body
my tender skin
now marked
i pull my hair
im trying not to go insane
iam dirt
i should be with the dogs
they should take me away to my death
once untouchable
now im wipe open
easily slit
my skin peels away
and reveals pure red blood
i scrunch my face up in mixed up pain
im dirty
it was my fault
i belong in the ground
buried with the maggots
to bathe with the dirt

A truly sad write filled with anguish and despair.
But believe me you are not dirty, lost maybe but not dirty.
Many of my street kids here in Perth used to feel the same way about themselves. But not anymore, they like you are just waiting to shine, and you will.
