[bodytext] => Flower petals litter the floor, a plush multi-coloured carpet, scented and silky. He loves me ... ... he loves me not. Black rose petals rain down, the heavens open up and let loose a deluge of rose scented death as the Reaper himself stands upon the black silky rug. In his hand, a single black rose, extended in offering. A simple gesture to signify so much more. She sits there in repose and wonders how love could penetrate that soulless one, that heartless Reaper ... Curiosity must be sated! She accepts the offer, grasping the rose, its thorns dig deep. Upon the floor of petals she bleeds, staining them red with life. A kiss of his lips to seal the wounds and leaving her married, in love, to Death. For the Reaper's cold touch warmed her skin and granted lost dreams for eternity's sigh as she gasped for life. Black petals rained down from the sky. 2003 [comments] => 4 [counter] => 171 [topic] => 13 [informant] => taintedsoul [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 22 [ratings] => 5 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => DarkPoetry )
