Heavy steps descend further, throwing up a fiery haze, the crucible unable to contain the viper's jaw, drawing her deeper into the abyss. Aware enough to know eerie pasts created a world the dead had made for her, she willingly entertains the predator as 3-dimensional shadows draw her in.
