So, ask how it feels to be driven

Down into the dirt where you’re walking

No concept of where you are going

No words even heard when you’re talking.

Just cast aside left in the bitterness

Your heart torn out, left you still bleeding

No chance to ask for a good reason

No pride left for begging and pleading.

Trampled and tossed away without care

Used and abused, only a second place

You were only kept as a distraction

Then watched it backfire in your face.

Intentions may not have be injury

What good does that really do me?

The point is you kept me hanging

It might as well been from a tree.

You’re leaving me in utter despair

I hope you think your better without me

I thank you for ruining my whole life

Now I wish you never had met me.

But fear not, as you wish, I’m gone

You’ll never know how much you’ve lost

You didn’t give me a true chance with you

I’m sure you feel much better off.

I’ll leave you and still love you to death

I know you hate that, and won’t ever accept it

It’s not all that easy, this love I’m letting go

It’s not my fault you’re the one who rejected.

No big deal, this is my life that has ended

You’ll move forward, but just so you know

I’ll always wonder why you did this to me

Why you wanted me, then told me to go.

So, Ask How It Feels to be shot down

It’s the most vicious feeling to me

To give all the love you have in you

And be left with nothing but grief. [comments] => 1 [counter] => 172 [topic] => 6 [informant] => Joker17 [notes] => [ihome] => 1 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => AngryPoetry )
