[title] => The Vaccine Wagon
[time] => 2004-12-23 13:46:43
[hometext] => This is a poem about a nightmare I had about getting vaccinations.
[bodytext] => It was from her nightmares She hated shots, That light sting of pain, Spreading through her arm like a virus The Vaccine Wagon, It’s wooden walls clanking over, That dusty, dirt road A scared little girl hid among the shadowing trees Sharp, silver needles were plastered along the wagons wall Glowing bottles of poison vaccinations, Were scattered among the rickety floor Shards of pointy glass poured out from the wagon He had no name, The man with the hideous syringe A sickening grin was displayed across his face Those eyes of that little girl grew large The man ran from the wagon, His long, scarred legs chasing after the scared child He finally caught up to the terror-stricken girl A psychotic laugh echoed through the trees A silver point jabbed into her thin flesh, As the black poison swelled through her veins The thick needle ripped at her skin, Exposing the very bone of her existence [comments] => 3 [counter] => 176 [topic] => 13 [informant] => Crimson_Rose [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 2 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => DarkPoetry )
