"blood brothers" sharing the pain they endured.
This little boy with, pure spirit,
was her, only friend in the world.

When each day went wrong, she'd run to him,
he'd listen intently, not saying a word.
They shared a kiss together,
with him, she knew her existence wasn't obscure.

Each day that passed, so did all her worries,
sitting happily, on top of her bed,
playing with her stuffed animals...
smiling, as her father walked in.

She didn't know the news to come,
as she calmly asked her daddy, what's wrong.
Saddend eyes, the shaking hands,
Which made her little heart melt.

Her bestfriend is gone today...
he got hit by a car today,
little girl will cry today...
dying silently inside, today.

Running to his tiny casket,
the tears welling in her eyes,
she pleaded for him to just get up,
to come and step outside.

She touched his face, so cold, so pale,
she told him it was alright now, she was there.
She would take his hand, she felt his pain,
the frustration, pounding in her brain.

She ran into the hospital,
she told them, she was dying,
that car had hit her right in the heart,
the blood lost, caused her crying.

Her best friend is gone today...
his death hit her hard today,
she screams silently, withdrawn today...
Her only friend in the world, is gone today.
