Blood in the streets
Gangs right and left
Pot and Heroine not to hard to get
Minors drinking and People killing
Rapists knockin' up you 10 year-old
Having to send your kid to school with peperspray
If this is now,
Do we have a future worth living in?
Well, let me tell you, dude
I'd prefer death
Over living here any day
They tell me
"You have so much to live for"
If they really cared
They'd gimme back the knife
They wouldn't let me live in such a world
This world's built on hate and anger
Death is so common
It has become entertainment to some
So I ask you
Before you put the knife away
Do you really want us to be raised
In such a sadistic world?
HAVE MERCY ON ME.

| I really like your poem. Exellently written, but most of all, I love the content! I can releate to your feelings (I think) and I agree with you. I do have Mercy on you, and everyone else that has to live in this ***** up world. |
