In this journey we call life.
They have seen some happiness,
And also lives in strife.

They have seen natural beauty,
The mountains covered in snow.
Or the crops during the year,
As I've watched them grow.

I've seen people,
Who some would think elite.
And I've seen some, with a facade
that makes them seem sweet.

But 'midst all that I have seen,
And all I ever will.
The most wonderful of sites,
That has given me such thrill,

Was looking into the eyes
Of a woman I hold dear.
Of gazing at her soul,
Through eyes crystal clear.

She graces me with her being,
And is full of surprise,
While her body is nice,
I lust for her eyes.

How lucky can any person be?
To see thier reflection,
In the eyes of one,
So near to perfection.

I will not lie,
I relish her embrace,
To hold her in my arms,
And gently touch her face.

But perhaps the greatest gift
We will ever share,
Is when she opens her eyes,
And leaves her soul bare.

This measure of trust,
that she holds in me,
Might very well prove,
The best I'll ever see.

WOW!! To have a man write this about someone, is the ultimate tribute! I love it!! You have shown such talent in your two poems. I look forward to reading lots more of your work.
