I long to see the sweetest sight Beyond these hill to behold To see the grace of the angels height But I fear my heart not so bold
I long to see her dark brown skin That turns the heavens gold But to see such beauty is a sin And I fear my hear not so bold
I long to see her gentle locks Of this beauty long untold But my heart yet still block For I fear my heart not so bold
O to see the olive skin Against her night gowns fold And yet I find this to be a sin For my heart is not so bold
