[bodytext] => The Sealskin Coat
Saw her sealskin coat in the restaurants cloakroom, leaned over the counter and touched it, my hand had the same scent as she used. The check girl came looked at me perhaps thinking I was going to steal something, asked if she knew the coats owner. “Yes” but why don’t you go in and look for yourself?“ I didn’t want to know didn’t want to be sure. Stood under an archway across the street it was very cold like it was going to snow, after an hour the coat and its owner came out, she was laughing and hanging on to a man’s arm. It looked like her but it was dark had to cross the street to be sure didn’t see the car. When I came to the first thing I saw was the coat, but I didn’t know its owner [comments] => 1 [counter] => 156 [topic] => 43 [informant] => Jan_Oskar_Hansen [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => oops )
