[bodytext] => It's hard to forget when you know you can remember, Like a growing flower and a dieing ember. Who thought it be wise to put tears on our cheeks, And make it that no one could fix these leaks. Who'd trade memories for happiness, just to live? To do without question to take and to give. How come nothing's important to you? Would it matter if we don't make it through? Would it matter if I sad the grounds made of bones? And that people are dieing but you can't hear their groans. That our rivers and streams are made of blood? And that our skin and flesh is turning to mud? And the trees are bleeding and spitting up oil, And everything was dieing in this graveyard of soil. Would any of this matter if it really begun? If our lives were over and everything was done. But I know one thing that your purposely ignore, One thing you'll forget more and more. One thing that won't matter because nothing matters to you, Is if I said I loved you and that I still do.
