He possesses the ability to use his wits during the day and his cunning at night.-Professor Segba Lebretu [bodytext] => I sit alone
In my midnight chair
Surrounded by
Night Maidens
These are not creatures
They are songs
They give birth to a new brood

You didn't want to lay there
And die
You couldn't get comfortable
With the thought of it
You stood there and watched
As I took my hand
And...

There are some who claim
That in certain villas
One can find
A haunted breeze

Drais knows of it
He has been comforted by its cool companionship
And he has suffered as the breeze
Seems to steal more and more
Of his humanity

I'll go with the haunted breeze
It's a pastime where poeple are hunted
For what there body has to offer
The blue that turns to red when it reaches air the
Haunted breeze is blowing through my snakeskin hair

I am in this night like a bite on a ghostly mite
I will not awake to a fright of a daylight bright
Almost silently will I walk through the villa
Until I reach the edge of some bleak thought...

I will seek refuge in a desert outpost
I will be like another layer of clay in the earth
And be as transparent as a ghost [comments] => 3 [counter] => 173 [topic] => 13 [informant] => Lee [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 10 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => DarkPoetry )
