'Till Night's Children come home

Just when you think
You've found a sliver
Of pure, satisfying light
You think it shimmers
But you look again to see
That the light is but
A fragrance of the moon
And the way
That it catches your gaze
It gives your body shivers

Rocking the bones
Night's Children are prone to dethrone

You can sleep in the darkest spot
But in your daylight dreams I will never be caught
The darkest brood will be casting their lots
And in a tumult our ageless battles will be faught

I'll rock the bones
I'm the one who
Can do

This is an interesting write ... I want to know more ... curiosity peaked. I like this.

"That the light is but
A fragrance of the moon "
I really like these lines.

Modified for "The StarFlower: Just Passing Through the Universe...A Space Opera"

"Rocking the Bones"

The StarFlower:

"Rocking the bones
'Til the hour finds me all alone

Just when you think
You've found a sliver of pure, satisfying light
You think it shimmers

But you look again to see
That the light is but
A fragrance of the moon

And the way
That it catches your gaze
It gives your body shivers

Rocking the bones
The Night Parade is prone to dethrone

Sleeping in the darkest spot
In your daylight dreams I will never be caught

I'll rock the bones
I'm the one who
Can do just that"
