Just the two of us

Young and unknowing
Consequences mean nothing
Lust consumes us
Taking over our thoughts

We decide tonight is it
Nine months later
Regretting that night
How could I have been so stupid
I thought it could never happen to me

Now, a mother at age fifteen
Crying in the bathroom floor
Wishing I could take that night back
But you can't ever go back

So here I am
Single, fifteen year old mother
With too many regrets to count

I threw my future away
All for just one night
Only to be left with this newborn child

youve ruined your life, with one night stand. silly girl. but you learn from your mistakes no matter how BIG they are. still, on the other hand, a good poem, inspired
