I want you to hit me
To bloody my nose
Let my eyes drain of blood
So I can scream out enraged
A monsterous noise
And dissolve into sugary saltwater tears
A wafer washed into a glass
...

...The Angels' song/
Christ the King is Born/

I want you to hit me
To bloody my nose
So I can scream out enraged
A monsterous noise

Did they know one day men would cry/
Cru-u-u-u-ci-fy/

Cru-u-u-u-ci-fy/

Christ the King is Born

...The Angels' song/

I want you to hit me

Your love of God is screamingly obvious here. I know He moved you to write this. It's moving and full.

Intense. You never cease to amaze me with your creativity. You show your intense love through an anger voice...and it was indeed effective. It was a poem I had to read more than once to even get a true glimpse of all the emotion I'm sure that you put into it. Amazing, heartfelt. Very enjoyable. Superb....okay, I'm done.
