Is my time up?
what will I gain
if everything is lost?
the wind blows hard on my front door
and I wonder is that death
on it's way for me?
I walk through the hall
the light there is dim
and I see my shadow
upon the wall
I stop suddenly
I feel a presence
and I wonder is this my time to fall?
I wake up in the night
and a cold chill stays with me
and I cry in my mind to know the answer
at noontime daytime nighttime still
this question lingers upon my soul
etched into my mind and every move I make
this is not a question of what might happen
but this is the certainty of life [comments] => 7 [counter] => 204 [topic] => 13 [informant] => pam [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 9 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => DarkPoetry )

I've always said "Time" is very
important and it says alot of things
none of us know when our time
comes, and many of us create
our own time to go. Thanks for
sharing this one i enjoyed it

Have you tried converting that to lyrics maybe, some changes would be needed for it, slow blues maybe, the poem itself is very good, I like how it builds up then ends.
