When I found YPDC I felt so glad,
I’d finally found a place to call home,
Now I knew I wasn’t really alone.
This place has brought me a ray of sunshine,
It made my soul start to incline,
I felt free, I felt like a beautiful bird,
Knowing my feelings would now be heard.
I have made many friends while I’ve been here,
It makes me feel good knowing you’re near,
If I feel down, depressed & upset,
I come to share poems to help me forget.
If only for a little while it makes me feel great,
Puts my mind into a much healthier state,
I feel like I am about to lose it all,
I am really worried that YPDC will fall.
I long to share my gift with you all forever,
Writing has helped me through my darker weather,
I write these words from my saddened heart,
I feel like our site is slowly falling apart.

My heart hangs heavy as I feel so sad,
When I found YPDC I felt so glad,
I’d finally found a place to call home,

a beautifully heartfelt poem krissie, i have been sick on and off and not home here as much as usual, *lots of catching up to do* but i do not believe we will fall, ive watched ypdc grow every year and now believe there is nothing we cannot overcome:) hugs n' love nessa

A very moving write Pixie. I can relate to how important this site is for you. I too am very thankful for this site and what it offers; and needs of mine that get met. I hope and pray that the site can be there for the long term.

This is such a wonderful poem and true to so many.
It is so true to me anyway....between u, happiness, doriens picture, mangs and many others you have helped me through some rough times.
I have no idea what i would do if this site did fall........but lets not think about that.
Thank you for making this feel like my home.

Just stay positive, pix. I appreciate the need to voice your fears, but I'd rather we all voiced the positives here from now on - it will take added effort, but i'm sure we can raise awareness to the required level before the inevitable happens.

Your gift of words they tell of life. You have a insight. All your hopes All your dreams All your sadness is shared within the words you write. I'm rather new to this site but it is the best by far. I belong to four others but they can't even compare to this one. May your gift of words help settle your soul may you contiune to share and never give up hope. : )

i feel the exact same way.
I 'm so happy I have the people here to listen to me, I've been in the shadows for so long and slowly I am being pulled out from the never ending hole of torment and pain.
