Array ( [sid] => 73143 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => The Shoreline [time] => 2004-11-25 18:08:16 [hometext] => ummm...this is another one that goes out to a girl i hope to find, and to all you who havent found someone [bodytext] => Im just so damn bitter
Its another cold winter
On the New England coast
Ive driven to the ocean
But Im not sure why
The springs far ahead
And the summers way behind
The ocean sprays salty
Im sure my thinking was faulty
Cause my ears are so cold
And the campfires gone
At nightime the celling
Is covered with stars
And I can saw my breath
As I trace the patterns in my mind
I sat there forever
My hands rubbed together
I saw you walk by
Im not too sure why
You sat down besides me
And breathed in new life
I couldnt help but studder
But then I felt you shudder
The ocean was rising
And I saw you crying
I watched your tears freeze
In the cold breeze
I wiped them away
You wanted to stay
Till the morning

We woke up and saw
The sea gulls cryin
I knew we were lyin
Right in the surf
Then I felt you roll over
You pulled me back down
On the imprinted ground
And you wrapped me up tight
And I never got away
Then you kissed me again
I felt like winter would end
Then the sun rose up slowly
We lay there without noices
Im sorry I felt that
This would end tragic
Cause Im nothing without you
Do you feel that way too? [comments] => 2 [counter] => 161 [topic] => 55 [informant] => socialburnin [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => dedicatedpoems )
