'We are running out of time'
when there's a squabble overseas
stress is common on the mind
Take your head out of the coluds
and back down into earth
but don't think about fighting
and don't think about hurt
Because the Candy Militia
will take away pain
by relieving ones thoughts
and relieving ones brain
By expanding the heart
and closing the night
by forgiving the sins
and conquering the fright
The Candy Militia
will make it all better
Just shut your eyes
and drift away on a feather
For when you awake
at next mornings dawn
your soul will be stolen
by the sweetest of all...

The gumdrops did it...

I was suprised by the content of the poem.
I thought it was of good quality.

Keep writing.

Heh.. Reminds me of my poem "Sugar Coated Poison," although that was on a slightly different subject. This was cute and I enjoyed it. Cheers!
