so much weight on me
i feel my knees
buckle, halfway
and i struggle to stay
standing, i struggle to
stay around for coveted minutes
spent with my immaculate
and his desires
the weight of this universe
is solid, approaches unbearable at times
still the coveted minutes
will always be mine
will always be worthy of a lifetime
of fighting to keep them alive
and i do fight, a raging battle inside
of wrong and right
of black and white
of coveted minutes that are never at night
of loneliness that is not alright
and the void that is left unsatisfied
so much weight on me
feels priceless
as I straighten my knees
and struggle to stay standing
fighting as I bleed
for my immaculate
and the desires
fulfilled in coveted dreams

I was so drawn to this poem. I have felt the weight you described so thoroughly in this poem. The title was excellent as well.
