Already seeking to sell themselves
Anxious, willing, and eager to please

I allowed them to ply their trade
Fighting amongst themselves
Vying for my attention and favors
Unaware of what it was
They would truly be offering me

They reeked of perfumed sex
Unadulterated lust oozed from every pore
Lust for power, lust for wealth
Lust for freedom
And the residual lust, left behind
From the evenings previous companions

They dressed scantily, displaying their assets
Offering all manner of pleasures
And physical rewards for a modest fee

They all wanted me
An apparent gentleman
Clean cut and finely dressed
Able undoubtedly, to afford any price
That they might ask for their services

But I was waiting for that one ~

The one that made me want her ~

It did not take long
I saw her eyeing me
From just inside an alcoved door
She seemed hesitant and aloof
Watching me with trepidation
She appeared almost nervous

Her figure was more concealed than the others
That, in and of itself, said little
She wore a tight bodiced velvet dress
Of a rich deep purple
It clung snugly to her bosom
Her tiny waist and deep cleavage
Were still very much on display

Delicate white lace, trimmed the plunging neckline
More lace ballooned slightly from the shoulders
Falling down slender delicate arms
Gathering into cuffs of matching purple
That encircled her wrists

Her waist was belted in the same white lace
It flowed out behind her like tuxedo tails
Her legs disappeared beneath the hem
Also lace trimmed, cut at an angle
From mid thigh of the left leg
Barely touching the knee of the right

Long auburn hair complimented the dress
Cascading in waves off of her shoulders
Settling just above the wrap at her waist
Dark complected, her skin gave the impression
Her origins were not of this region

I stood motionless and staring
The others, seeing my interest captured
Melted away slowly into the night
She approached me once they had all departed

Her eyes gave her away
They revealed much experience
She had perfected such an attitude, however
To draw men who thought they could buy innocence
I very nearly spared her because of that irony
The audaciousness of men that would buy her time
Believing that they were somehow her first

Once I met her terms
She led me into a small well-appointed room
I drew her to me, pressing my lips to hers
Her body thrust hard against mine

Pulling away slightly
Her mouth then trailed my jaw
And her breath lightly caressed my ear

I reveled in the moment
Suddenly, I was caught off guard
I sensed a somewhat familiar change in her

Just before she buried her teeth into my neck

WOW! That was quick!! I can see that you were very inspirated and wrote another, very quickly submitted! Scrumptiously erotic, morbid, and oh so enticing... So vivid, these images... I could see the spent prostitutes lined up in a row, desperately begging for the gentlemean's attention, the timid shadow behind the reckless whores, adorned in purple tresses and lace... The subsequent, yet blissful end of the enigmatic gentleman, and the glorious new beginning... Loved this piece! So glad that you have written another, and hopefully a sequel to the next... Thank you so much for this... enchantingly flawless piece. You have such a way with words, that no one else seems to capture... Such a unique gift. A read to 'mark' the hearts and souls of many! So mote it be... Exquisite, as always. Forever,

Votre fleur d'innocence

lol. Its not only your current avatar that is freaky . . .

"From mid thigh of the left leg
Barely touching the knee of the right"

That's fascinatingly unnecessary detail there - I love it! lol. And this bit . . .

"I very nearly spared her because of that irony"

And the twist at the end . . .

I get the sense that you're a story writer. Have you any inclination to pen something for the story section?

I gotta agree with Neptune, you should be a storyteller.
You know what I love about this?
I could see it all. Though for some strange reason it had a moulin rouge kinda feel to it. But nonetheless, it still filled my mind with images.
Nice twist at the end, too.

Good write,
*hugs* Phil xxx

I like these as poems.
Story poems are so essential to
the future success of Poetry.
I used to write stories, now
I would prefer to write story poems.
They ARE better than just prose.

I think these are getting even better
but I don't how that is possible...

Quite a story there. This girl and the way this was written...reminded me so much of someone else's writing. Gave me the shivers. Nice stuff. I'll have to check out your writes more often.

Stunning write. I've thoroughly enjoyed the bit this story I've read. I must say, entrancing write. And this part ... well the ending is just wonderful. Delightfully dark.

peace
