she suffers not dull a season
every one of them commits self treason
when the safety net is gone from pleasin'
high society heels and lace
sophistication with all the grace
lost in some odd forsaken space
and she's without a suitor for the chase
but she has already lost the race
her past too laden for the pace
as it is she has no other face
and now she only wishes to erase
her trail is cold with the fear
from losing all she has held dear
with nothing ever staying near
she's been walking a very long pier
aching to simply disappear
but feels all the scars when cornered then seared
has seen the ugly head of evil rear
and felt the lonely slide of the tear
because she has always defied
all alone she has cried
waits to be fit enough to be tied
and now she wants it all the more
no longer knowing what she's around for
needing both the ocean and the shore
because her heart is broken from all the ages
no one out there to harness the many rages
she's missing the key to unlock the cages
no one wants to read all the pages
all she lacks there is a sire
but they've forgotten about her desires
and ignored the molten fire
their callousness sets her ire
she's waist bound in the mire
waiting for one who never tires
or leaves her alone on the rack
helpless on the tracks
with yet another demon to sack
but her pain now holds her back
with only that little knack
and no plan of attack
but the know how to attract
their ignorance is not the bliss
as she hears the deafening hiss
feeling as if they'll never miss
the flutters given through her kiss
and the bees they shall a-buzz
and she'll be there just because
for that is all she ever was
a siren for their fare
she spins and sparkles on a dare
look left now for narry a care
smirking at karma's path infair
she always steps into the darkened lair
heart and head are quite the pair
but life has dealt her a righteous tare
because she's like cargo stamped return
left on the docks to vainly yearn
the bridges slowly burn
she wonders if they'll ever learn
or if she will some day earn
the freedom warranted by her sin
her release from the haunting din
or a place on the good side of the win
because she knows not what to do
and doesn't know how to follow through
while she patiently waits for the coup
or the day to rue
for not being the one who flew
and being left in this stew
for she'd give anything for the dance
or the chance
to kneel for the stance
while begging just to feel
you take her out of real
to leave her fate unsealed
then grasp her taste to heal
for it would all be so surreal
oh please.....someone spin that wheel.......
