Each crescent in the sky...
Are all the same...
As the days wane on and on
No battle is being fought
And no battle in being won
Slow and torturous like the fires of Hell
Indifferent and ignorant to this path
Unable to face the human's wrath
I know not what can change or tell

When the sun rises and the moon sets
And lives of men are wasted on bets
My life shouldn't be a pattern unexplained
My days should be joyful not lonely and pained
Doesn't one understand that to be free...
One must do more than survive
One must explore and you must live
One must receive and one must give
One must accept and one must reject
One must surprise and one can't expect
The list can go on forever long
But time doens't wait for the entire song
So one can do as much as one can

Will I be here when people expect me to?
Will the truth surprise me and is it true?
Know not, want not and so much more
See not, surprise not until you explore
Heaven's rain and nature's earth
Water's life and fire's hearth
All expected and all for granted
As we live lives that are all but slanted
Will our lives be straight and monotonous too?
I guess I can't say but I guess I can try..
And I really don't want to pry..
So all I can say is I hope that you do...
Live as much as you can; live a life that is true [comments] => 2 [counter] => 170 [topic] => 25 [informant] => huey [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => MiscPoems )
