Guaranteed a life, money, love and happiness
But all I can see is blackness, bleakness - forever darkness
Everyway I turn, straight into a brick wall
A diseased flower - the garden of life
Bleeding, dying promises leak from your filthy mouths
Like stale dribble on the old, weak, meek – already dead
Cling to your words, please do - cling to your hopes for me
Ill be silent here, like my soul – Already swinging from the gallows
I’m no mystic, but the future seems so clear
What’s the point, what’s the point, I don’t care
Never cared anyway….
Hatched form my cocoon
Enshrouded, protected me for what?
The pain soon fell upon me
Want to escape, hibernate forever
Need to be wrapped up, protected again
All I see is hate; I have so much of my own
Hate for you, hate for me – suppose it’s my fault
I’m my own creation, my own devastation
Life is what you make it you say – well two decades wasted
What the hell can I do, Frustration wells up
Bleed my emotion all over the floor
I sit and cry, sit and sulk, call me a baby
I don’t care, I DON’T CARE AT ALL

Why am I like this?
What am I?
What is this feeling?
What shadows fall over me?
What darkness engulfs me?
What world do YOU preach?
What world do YOU live in?
What can I do?
What is this scream I keep silent?
Why do I fail?

nice write, it conveys frustration that i know i can relate to. sometimes the glass doesn't seem just half-empty but completely empty.
