Todays the day!!
I'm moving away!!
Leaving town
And moving to my big new house
Dawn breaks, and I creep down the stairs
Quiet as a mouse
Mum and Dad are fast asleep
So I wait, I don't make a sound
Not a peep
When finally they're up
I say with a great big smile
"Mummy, Daddy, will it be a while??
Until we get to our house??"
Then I heard Mum's reply
"No ofcourse not, why??"
The big truck came
And they took my bed
They took my clothes
They even cleared out the shed!!
I was so excited
We got in the car
Dad said it wasn't far
We rolled along the stony road
The sun was out
Bit scary moving away
But I couldn't wait
It was gonna be great
We were out in the country soon enough
Our new home
Hope the truck got all our stuff
We came to the drive way
I looked out the window
There were rolling green hills
And Daffodils
As far as the eye can see
What a day this is gonna be
I opened the rusty gates
And rushed up to the door
And you wouldn't believe what I saw
A great big pool
Right in the yard
It was great, it was soo cool
I think I like my big new house
I think I'll be happy here
Amongst the hills and the daffodils
I think I'll stay
Day after day!!

Beautifully written poem, full of feeling, and built up to a very happy ending, awesome ryming, making moving house sound easy and stress free, lol if only.
Cool poem 5/5 from me for this write. |

If only moving to a new house is as easy as your's lol. can you recomend your movers id be happy to use them in the future. Great poem i love the way you ryhme its way cool.
