Can't you see I have no joy
The one thing I love
That was given from above
You took it away
In just one day
You laugh at me
Like I'm blind and can't see
You scream and yell
Thats why I dread the last bell
I don't want to go home
Because I will see the foam
Of the beer you drink
Gosh you stink
Why can't you be a normal dad?
Why do you make my life so bad?
I keep telling myself I want a new life
Why don't you learn how to treat your wife
So for all you have done to me
I wish I could make you see
I hate you

Hang in there sweetie. This jus breaks my heart but because my kids father was an alcholic so I raised our three kids on my own. I couldn't put my kids thru that but good news is he's on meds and sober so the kids like it but then it's hard to get that trust back. My kids are grown with their own kids but I know they like the fact that when he gets off the wagon no one will not go around him. He's doing good tho. I hardly ever see him but there is help out there and it might take a while but Dr's can help the alcholics by getting them on the right meds, then couseling and much patience.
I can tottally relate to this write 'cause my son had the same feelings 'bout his dad. They're not real close right now cause my son has jus gotten over his anger.
It's really sad what alchohal can do 2 a family is very painfull.
I've put u on my pryaer list cause I know how hard it is on the children that were put thru these types of agonies.
Luv, huggs, faith, hope, joy, peace,
emy
