my time with you
you will never understand
the way u made me feel
when ur weapon of choice was a hand
although the silent pain will never go away
i am comforted in the knowledge that one good thing u have done
is make me a stronger person today
so i will not hang my head in shame
and i refuse to be overcome by the silent pain
for i can feel the beat of my heart returning
and for the touch of a man my body is yearning
i feel the light streaming back into my darkness
i feel the awakening of my soul
i feel i am finally ready to move on
now that i have found what you stole
i feel so much life i finally again feel whole
and no longer will i feel blue
for deep in my past is where i choose to leave
my time with you

my time with you

my time with you
you will never understand
the way u made me feel

Very good write and outpour of emotion. I have found in life that generally that is the best place to leave unhappiness, in the past.
