[hometext] => An analogy in poetic form...about my once dying friendship with certain friends who shall remain nameless because we are no longer fighting *smiles*
[bodytext] => Candles... As the wick Now alight Plays with a dancing flame Everything seems so bright Even though, just outside, Day has turned to night Candles... No the wax Melting slow Makes beneath a silky pool A pool of support that will grow As if, in melting, the wax Now holds secrets no one will know Candles... And now the end All is gone The wax, the wick Joy for which we long The warmth, love, and care And I just can't be strong Candles... Well, I guess You have to see I wasn't talking about candles I was talking about you and me About our dying friendship Through this analogy [comments] => 1 [counter] => 173 [topic] => 16 [informant] => Kie-Kie [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => FriendshipPoetry )
