Array ( [sid] => 6791 [catid] => 1 [aid] => Mick [title] => LoNeR [time] => 2002-11-16 06:20:00 [hometext] => This poem started out being about how much I hate being alone and how I wish someone would love me. Then...I found it had turned into a poem about how I miss my ex boyfriend, and how I miss how much he cared about me....Pretty Pathetic. [bodytext] => How did I ever get this far?
Lose sight of how good things really are?
Standing next to the falling air,
It's times like these I wish you were there.
Staring through the fogging glass,
Wishing that these days would pass.
Rain trickles down, gone grey to blue,
Flushing my memories left of you.

Your picture's fading from my mind,
Under trails of tears, it's left behind.

I miss seeing you smile when I close my eyes
And on the phone, I miss our goodbyes.
I miss walking together down the street,
-Without you here, I'm incomplete.
I need you more than I ever did-
Keep these words for I forbid,
Each solemn word I've spke tonight
Was meant for acceptance from my heart contrite

-Still standing next to the falling air,
-Still wishing you were standing there

Keep me company through life's demise,
Or until the day that my love dies.
Wishing these lonely days would pass
As I keep staring through this glass.
-I remember our last nights together
Before in came this stormy weather
Down goes the rain, from grey to blue
Flushing my memories left of you
The good and bad, I've kept them all
Till into this depression they made me fall

There goes your picture, gone from my mind
-Under trails of tears, where it's left behind. [comments] => 3 [counter] => 168 [topic] => 22 [informant] => flirtyrockstar [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => LostLove )
