Array ( [sid] => 67082 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Intoxicated Tragedy [time] => 2004-10-12 06:54:48 [hometext] => this is about my parents... and all the crap they put me through... it was a very painful write to me... so please read and comment [bodytext] => I can smell it on your breath
you are the reason
I think about death
you swallow away your pain
do you know
that you left me in the rain
I can't take your insults anymore
I am so tired
of you calling me a whore
so tired of being hurt
because of you
so tired of feeling like dirt
tell me why this hurts so much
all the mistakes you make
and all the nerves you touch
why are there people like you
in this world
people like you make me blue
family is always supposed to have your back
there, your not perfect
that is what you lack
intoxicated you yell in my face
telling me
I am a discrace
I just want some love
I don't need a push
or a shove
I don't want the love
a bottom of a bottle can give me
I just want you to see
that your daughter is not invisible
you are taring her heart apart
in a millon pieces
just like she does her wrists
when the blade tares
and she makes a fist
stop drinking or you will no longer
have a daughter
to worry about
you'll never again
see that pout
is that what you want
for the rest of your life
her memory to haunt
just stop now
don't ask me how
you're the one who got me into drugs
when all I asked for were hugs
you guys never even really cared
stop doing the **** that hurts
you wouldn't dare
I'm inside myself screaming
because of you guys
with the knife I am heaving
across the room
on the floor it sits
I'm rocking back and forth
taking more hits
wiping the tears from my eyes
and the blood from my wrist
I cave in
cause I'm so ****** [comments] => 5 [counter] => 156 [topic] => 36 [informant] => screwup [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 9 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => Suicide )

Totally full on and in ya face right, surely by now they'd get the message, or are they so dam blind, time for them to wake up before they lose the only person beautiful in their lives, powerfull written, with many heated emotions, Take care always.

there is hope, and if the addiction started with your parents maybe how they feel is buried deep inside too. Shame is a very powerful emotion and can make people push away the very ones they love. There is hope and at one point felt the same way towards my parents, looking to blame someone other than myself for the way I felt. There is always that glimmer of hope that things will work out. But we receive what we need by someone much greater than ourselves. I had such a painful tang of not being accepted for who I was by my parents not feeling good enough and etc.....you know you explained it all. This last time around my prayers were answered read Love Of A Father (FatherTom) that poem took the very breath out of my mouth and is my inspiration today. My Dad wrote that for me---Mircales happen everyday. I will pray for you.....Much love and support I send your way. Beautiful write just so sad......
