Yet you refuse to set my soul free,
Must you keep it locked inside a cage?
Making me your prisoner for such an age.

I have begged & I have pleaded with you,
So why your evil ways must you pursue?
You say you hold for me some sort of love,
But not the kind that’s sent from above.

You say if you can’t have me nobody can,
So what is exactly involved in your plan?
Do you wish to kill me & end my life?
Or make me become your darkened wife?

What will become of me if I flatly refuse?
Will my delicate soul forever carry your bruise?
Or will you accept my answer as it lies,
Let me loose to spread my wings in the skies.

You tell me you’re everywhere I go,
That there is nothing that you do not know,
You’re inside my thoughts you read my mind,
I have no real place in which I can hide.

You feed of my forever & undying fear,
You crush my sanity whenever you come near,
You have painted my world a shade of black,
Watched me as I fell into a never ending crack.

I feel trapped by your strong, dark wings,
In my head I can hear the demons sing,
Never again will I wake up from this nightmare,
As I know that forever you will always be there.

Pixie,
Nice write, it conveys that obsesion or sense of possesiveness well.
Is there something else you are trying to tell us here?? I hope all is really well with you.
