Array ( [sid] => 66883 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Because of You [time] => 2004-10-10 19:36:38 [hometext] => Again...since I am on a big The Used kick, I think that this song, when sung the right way would sound like something of them [bodytext] => *Verse 1*

How can we end up back at the start
When we haven't progressed at all
Can't you tell I'm dying
Inside
My mind is closing all its doors
Throw the locks, jam them shut
I feel
Burned alive and pushed aside
Going crazy from missing you so bad
I think I'm losing myself

*Chorus*

I stare in the mirror
And I don't think that its me
How could you love me
When depression, sadness, betrayal
Are burning in my eyes
But the brightest flame of all
Still burns for you
Because of you
Love...

*Verse 2*

We've made a lot of progress
But still cry...in this distress
I want so badly to hold you
I can't hold you over a phoneline

*Chorus, repeat last four lines twice* [comments] => 3 [counter] => 143 [topic] => 34 [informant] => eyesxcriedxout1989 [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => SongLyrics )

Lovely.

Has sadness, and yet so much of tenderness and soul too.
