[hometext] => This is a sonnet I wrote about (you guessed it) winter....I think the title is self-explanatory.
[bodytext] => Each leaf has fallen to the frosted ground And songbirds now no longer perch to sing. Those rusty colors are no longer found And winter takes its place before the spring. Each day the light will quickly come to end When gusty winds will take their deadly toll. You know the winter weather's not your friend When clouds of smoke from chimneys always roll. The pond is frozen solid 'neath your feet, Your nose becomes all numb out in the cold. The warmer weather now admits defeat And fall's sweet stories are no longer told. As grass is covered with a sheet of snow The winds of winter never cease to blow.
